Has there ever been talk of a subforum regarding gambling/gaming domains? It seems that there would be enough interest in all the casino/poker/betting/blackjack/etc.-type domains to have something like that? Or are there reasons against it due to legalities?

The only concern I have with that is that there are so many subjects that domain names can cover.

Unfortunately, it becomes a slippery slope and we'd have a ton of subforums flooding the site ;)

Thank you for the suggestion! I will make note of it and pass it along.

I understand your concern, but gambling domains seem a little different to me than the standard domain category, as they are a more easily monetized and uniquely affiliate-oriented category, similar in a way to adult domains. Additionally, a subforum would be helpful in discussing all the legal issues involved with Internet gambling domains.

I've tried joining up at the GPWA (Gambling Portal Webmasters Association) forum, but they don't seem terribly interested in the domaining aspect of things, which is why I thought it might be useful to have a gambling domain subforum here.

At the very least, a gambling domains subforum in the NamePros Marketplace would be great, possibly under the Specialty Domains area.

Maybe a subforum of the adult domains section?

I agree, it would dilute the discussions and for people with many interests it would be a PITA to navigate all the subsections.
