.eu about to expire

An .eu domain I'm interested in expires tomorrow. The owner registered it 5 years ago and hasn't done a thing with it.

What happens after tomorrow? What should I do to ensure I'm the one who gets it? When to do it?

Names are released 40 days after they expire, that's why it's called quarantine.
You can place a backorder with realtime.at.
The name might show up in their lists some time before release.
