After much contemplation, i've decided to put ArchlordSource.com up for sale.

About the game

Archlord is an MMORPG published by Codemasters, who also publish RF Online, Dungeons and Dragons Online and the upcoming Lord of the Rings Online. The game itself recently went free-to-play and saw a surge of new players.

About the site

ArchlordSource was originally set up around January 2006, and was the first fansite dedicated to the game. I purchased the site in May 2006 and set about completely revamping and relaunching what, at the time, was a small info site.

The site runs on Xoops with an original custom design made by myself; and makes use of an IPB forum, with over 1100 members. It has reached PR4, with links featured in numerous high-profile locations including the official game website, as well as the links section on MMORPG.com.

I've neglected the place somewhat since aroound December last year owing to not having much time to update it with news; however regardless of this, it still recieves on average 100-250 uniques per day. Back when i was updating the site regularly, it pulled in on average 500 daily uniques, which gives you an idea of what can be achieved with a little TLC.

Revenue-wise, I didn't really start to monetize the place until a few months ago, due to Adsenses tendancy to show gold-selling ads (which an old affiliate of the site was strictly against). The site has earned a bit from adsense, as well as commission sales through Linkshare, however someone with more expertise in monetizing a site could probably do a whole lot better than me.

The site currently ranks in the top 5 search results for 'archlord' on Google, with close to 2000 indexed pages; many of which include original and extensive content written by myself and other members of the site.

(EDIT) Auction will end 48 hours after the last bid received, or as soon as someone makes a BIN purchase. Payment can only be made via Paypal.

Starting Price: $100
BIN: $850 - REDUCED TO $750
Bid increments: $10

Can provide proof of stats on request; please post any other questions you may have in here.

Please PM revenue proof and all other stats. Why are there so many members but so little posts? Am I missing something?

PM's sent.

Why are there so many members but so little posts? Am I missing something?

The forum isn't the only reason for membership, and was never really pushed to the forefront of the site. Members get such options as image upload capabilities, as well as the ability to vote in polls etc.

Additionally, as I stated in my original post, this site has been neglected since late last year - you can tell this from the news posts made. All this will need is a reinjection of effort by a new owner to keep it updated, as there is still a good amount of traffic flowing in.

Stats etc can now be found here: http://www.archlordsource.com/sale

Changed the nature of the auction - it will now end 48hours after the last bid received.

$100 bid received on DNF: http://www.DNF/showthread.php?t=210126

$120 bid now received on DNF

Auction will end at 12.16PM on 21st Feb unless further bids are made.

To clarify auction rules, bidding closes 48hours after the last bid made - therefore if another person comes along and makes a new bid, the end time will be 48hours from that bid, and so on.

This is being done to avoid "snipe" bids and ensure quality buyers.

BIN Reduced to $750 or make me an offer
