Hello,
Greetings all.
A quick question. I have a domain that ideally suits 2 end users. Initially, I bought it for one end user option as the domain fitted their business very well, or to develop it myself.
However, I have since found that my domain is an exact fit for an annual event run by another organisation. I visited their website but their contact page did not have the specific contact details I needed. I did manage to find that they also had a Social Media page so I sent them a message via that page.
After a follow up, last week they responded in saying that they would pass on the details to the event organizers.
However, in the last few days I have managed to find the contact details for the office responsible for advertising. Anyway, here's the question. Do I wait until I get a response from the Social Media page, or do I make a fresh approach to the recently found advertising contact? I don't want to appear to be too pushy but on the other hand, I do think it may be an idea to make a fresh approach, especially as it is now a week since the message via their Social Media group.
As I'm new to this, I'm just looking for what others may think in how to take the next step without appearing to be too pushy. The organisation is large and the domain, as I say, is an exact match for an annual event they have recently started, so it is the ideal domain for them.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Regards
Frank
