are tv domainers looked upon as a easy touch on there selling of there names.
i have been emailing back and forth with one of my visitgeo.tv names with a buyer....who point to me that most tv domainer sell cheap....

so i say most tv domainer sell to cheap but once they sell there names..
then maybe we will see better prices.....

now i say what i think sorry about that.

I say you are spot on, Hullsey. Attempting to compare apples with oranges, which is what the buyer is doing in this case, should have little, if any, bearing on what the seller feels is their fair market price.

It all depends on the timing and willingness or ability of the seller to hold on for the price they feel is fair or negotiable. Stick to your principles and all will work out, now or later.

Easy touch? I don't think so really.

Domains aren't like cars. I can sell my car cheap because there are precedents. There is an established market. People buy s/h cars like mine all the time. There is data...a pattern...

However, the domain name game is mostly a phantom market. Contrary to what most domainers would like to think, placing a value on a name doesn't create a market or value. That is just their personal, subjective estimation.

Domains don't have a 'worth' in the traditional sense. Put simply, a domain is 'worth' precisely what someone is prepared to pay for it.

i think when they have sold there names of cheap we will see the next level of domainers and there prices....

i was at a carboot today watching all the booters buying the newbie bootstuff to sell higher on there stalls ....same thing here

i have turn down good offers for visitgeo.tv and ukgeo......they will buy for more..
