Easy drawing - $50

i need a drawing of a bug to go with a flash presentation i am making. it should be a cartoon and look somewhat like this:

i also need the bug to be holding a shield and and a pistol.

this must be original work. don't give me clip art or stock photos.

this contest will end one week from today (september 9) and then i will choose a winner. all files (photoshop, illustrator, freehand, etc.) and all rights to the design i choose must be given to me. i will make the payment via paypal. i will also give feedback during the contest.

Well I just drew this but now it's done, I've grown quite fond and don't think I want to give it away for $50.

It's heavily watermarked to avoid stealing. I know it's over the top, but I might use it for company branding instead of this contest unless the prize is raised, and therefore don't want it taken by anyone.

good submission, i like it. the bug just needs to look a little bit more menacing and also be holding the pistol and shield. other than that, it looks good.

i'm really not looking for something extremely fancy. it can be simple.

Here's my version:



Not sure what colors you wanted so did it it in shades of gray with red for the eyes.

the gun, shield, and the face all just look...flat. try buffing those up a bit. also, i'd prefer the head to be attached to the body i'd still like to see some more submissions from you.
