Dynadot gives your backorder to its API users

A name I backordered with Dynadot was registered at Dynadot by somebody else. There was no auction. My research brought me to another thread on NP that suggests Dynadot API backorders compete with standard Dynadot backorders. Fucked up or what?

here is the response from dynadot when I asked them about it:

note that there is absolutely no way to beat their so called 'long-time customers' via the API. So, one way or another, any domain they lay their eyes on will be theirs.

Thanks, that's the thread. Does it really mean API backorders override standard backorders, or do they compete with eachother?

For me, sometimes API beats backorder, and sometimes backorder beats API.

As a sidenote, their backorders didnt bring me anything for the last months. So i would say now you have more chances with API.
