@Dynadot - Most recently I changed my email contact under "Account Settings" in the Dynadot panel.
Shortly after I received a strong email notice "Account Info Verification" that basically said:
"According to the ICANN Whois Accuracy Program Specification, any account with a generic top-level domain (gTLD) must verify their account information when the gTLD is first added to the account, and any time the account information is changed thereafter."
Which is fine. But how could I expect that making an email change as described, on a page that made no mention close to "Whois".. might actually be applied to each individual domain name? Noting that each domain in by overall account carries its own drop-menu option to select from among a number of email addresses that I have added.
Also, other registrars that I've used having similar setups (such as Moniker for example) do maintain an "account email" which is unrelated with registered domains or Whois contact details.
The mentioned email portion of Dynadot's notice, says more to the effect :
"If your account information isn’t verified by 9/4/2025, which is 15 days from the start of the verification, any gTLDs in your account will be suspended."
So I guess time is somewhat of the essence. With a response to my 1st support request taking over a day to get, that ended up being the same exact notice without addressing any of my questions...
Can we get some better service? If I'm not mistaken I could be facing a 60 day transfer lock on my names.
(additionally while within same: email received)
"To check if you have successfully verified your account information, sign into your account and check your notifications. If you haven’t verified, you’ll have a "gTLD Whois Verifications" notification with a status of "Verifying".
- Looking within "Notifications" -- I see no such "Verifying" referenced.
