Duplicate websites linked -- good or bad?

I'm fairly new to Adsense... I've been relying on regular parking programs until now. So here's my question: I have 8 websites, all with the exact same content, just different domains. They all have Adsense on them. Would it be good or bad to link them all together? In other words, site 1 would have links to the other 7 and so on. Is this going to hurt me or help me to get the best SE results and/or adsense revenue? Thanks for any insight.

EDIT: Or, am I making a mistake by having 8 websites with duplicate content? Is this going to get me in trouble in itself?

sounds like you're just going to end up with eight not so well-ranked (or displayed) websites. google might just take one site as the original, and filter out the rest in the serp. im not sure whether adsense has rules against duplicate content, but being taken off the serp is likely to hurt earnings anyway.
