Are AdSense really allowed on proxy sites?

I'm currently running affilate ads on my web proxys
(hidemytracks.net and hideyourtracks.net)
This far I have gotten 36 clicks, and only made 0.01$
(I have tried to get the ads I think proxy-visitors would find interesting...)

So I visited a few other web proxies to see what ads they used,
and every single one had Adsense.....
I thought that only content-based websites were allowed on
Adsense (and all other PPC:s as well....). Are proxy sites really allowed,
and in that case: do Adsense and web proxys work well together?

Any advice appreciated!

Adsense and proxys are not a good combo. Adsense are designed for content sites. Not sites without content. It is not breaking googles TOS, so i would not worry.

You can use adsense on the home page of your proxy site, but not the "proxified" pages.
