Dump Sedo...I am making 900% more on avg with...

NAMEDRIVE! I know there have been a ton of these parking threads, but I just did the math and I am making 900% more at NAMEDRIVE over sedo.

I mean, some of my CLICKS are paying me more than sedo did in an entire month...So, other newbies take note, move your stuff to namedrive or just away from sedo...Sedo sucks for parking.

I've been parking on afternic... none of my domains really get any traffic.... but am I an idiot that should switch to ND or Sedo parking? Hahahaha

I currently list on Sedo, park on afternic and ntohing else....

I also moved all my names to NameDrive from SEDO and so far it seems like a smart move. I am getting many more clicks and views.
Park on NameDrive and Sell them on SEDO.

There are other options to selling on sedo too...but I wouldn't know about selling any domain. I've sold like three names in the past several months and they were privately sold. My portfolio sucks...hahaha...so sad...hmmm...

Are you optimizing your keywords using Ovt bid tool?

I'm now using the tool and it's paying off.

I earn about $600 a month at present so I guess if I play around with the keywords I can pull this up by 10% or more.

Some of my domains really earn more on namedrive. One domain earns ~700% more on namedrive than on sedo. However, some of the domains earn less. I will try to play with keywords.

Choosing an optimal keyword (which you can do on Namedrive) that produces both a higher CPC (cost per click) -- when the bids are higher on a keyword, clicks will pay out more, and revenue will often increase (depending on the CTR elasticity.)

Ok, rocketfly. I guess you can use Overture's or Google's bid tool to pick up the highest paying ones or does namedrive have other rules in this regard?

I mean if "online poker" or "mortgage" pay high on Google does it mean it will also pay high on ND?

I use Namedrive for parking and sedo and afternic for domain sales.

I have about 150 names parked at Namedrive and about 50 or so at Sedo. I did have all of them parked at Sedo but migrated some names over about 2 montes ago. The 900%
is not unrealistic. Mine is about 800% but the account is still new. I have not even fine tuned all the keyword options as well as the headers and page type etc...

I've recently moved to Sedopro - not bad. Namedrive landing pages are still nicer, and I believe generate more "click potential". I still really REALLY hate the "wait until a human checks your keyword" system at Sedo - although my account rep is fast and easy to contact. The only hassle is if I want to change a keyword at night or on the weekend (typical) it wont let it go until the rep approves it.

Also the interface that SedoPro has is not nearly as clean as Namedrives. The payout level is very similiar on SedoPro to NameDrive - which is nice.

Sedo is a great place to sell domains and i really like the fixed price feature - which I use for quite of few of my domains.

(you have to have either 200 domains OR $200 a month in revenue to qualify.

I think at the end of the day it really is down to personel preference.

Moved over to NAMEDRIVE and have no regrets.

Since reading on a thread about how to maximize your parked domains I have noticed big changes in views and clicks.

Looking to move a few POKER very soon to FABULAS, Heard they pay high for POKER domains.

I tried ND but after receiving a bunch of clicks that showed up as $.11 each and then a day later dropped to $.01 I decided to switch back to Sedo, because on average I get $.10 minimum. Obviously not the greatest keywords, but I just don't like the idea of $.01 clicks... I mean whats the point...

But at the same time, I've had nothing but problems with Sedo's customer service and listing process. I've had emails completely ignored and once it took 5 days for a domain I added to show up in my portfolio.

I have a few domains at Sedo that get about 50 uniqs a month, but absolutely no clicks even though they're optimized and the traffic is extremely specific, so I think I may give ND another try with those domains.

You should give ND another try. They have added some features. Also, if your portfolio is decent, try fabulous too.

If any one click is paying more than Sedo did in a month.. Your traffic must be really weak..

I seem to be the odd man out here, and maybe I'm biased because the guys @ Sedo have always taken good care of me, but I enjoy their service. With the new landers my CTR has improved slightly, and their payouts have always been a bit early..

I really hope people @ other parking companies aren't using these boards to try and convert ppl from Sedo. (I don't work for any parking company, but just as a general overview).. If you have a problem with Sedo, call them directly and have an acct manager help you out..
