Dropping Domain Getting Massive But Is Not Backordered?

I'm placing this here because apparently I am a huge noob because I can't figure this one out.

kmtlbb.com is dropping at snap in a couple days, no one has placed an order for it. Granted it's Chinese traffic, but with thousands of uniques a day surely there's a way to monetize it?

Alexa Traffic Rank: 11,559. Are the traffic stats I've found bogus? If they're not, what the heck kind of site was it and why is it receiving so much traffic? And why isn't anyone bidding on it?

Just so you don't think you're alone in confusion... I can't figure it out either. Putting it in archive.org doesn't show anything was ever on it... and running it through estibot shows 0 search results which would be weird if the domain actually does get the traffic alexa is claiming. I'm skeptical that the alexa rank is real...

I don't see any large amount of backlinks.

Traffic may have been from a redirect.

No backlinks showing at Yahoo. Alexa traffic is SO easy to fake don't jump just because of that. Maybe there is a toolbar or something in China that links to that domain... Don't pay more than reg fee unless you know how to monetize Chinese traffic and can figure out what they are looking for.

Someone buy it and tell us where the traffic is coming from...

Most likely it is proxy traffic.

Also be careful with the traffic stats at GoDaddy auction. It seems like they are counting all kind of hits rather that actually visits to a webpage so what seems to be a high traffic domain might get no traffic at all if parked etc.
