Names dropping but not been released?

ok so I was chekcing whois n some geo .info domains,

and I see their is this domain which I want, it expired in July 2006,

yet this domain has not dropped yet, I have no idea why I heard that domains drop after 3 months of not bee re registered.

I was pondering using a backorder at godaddy or another service, but would it really be worth it people all ways seem to say snap names acquires the best dropped domains first, do they target .info's?

There are some .info names such as country names or generic terms that are held by the registry even after expiry, some have been seized because they were claimed on landrush based on fake TMs.
Nobody knows for sure when they will be released and how

this domain was registered by a user from 2001-2006 and it has no TM reference???
