Come on, I was so close to getting a domain, but just as I was about to place my bid, I refreshed the page and bang! 503 Error. I kept trying to refresh, but nothing worked. For 5 minutes, I couldn’t load the page. In the end, the domain was won by another user with a single bid, which happened to be the winning one, while I was stuck dealing with the site issues

Has this happened to anyone else?

Today the website is in 503 again. @Natalie Lynch I’m not sure if you still work for DropCatch, but the site is not functioning properly. I noticed it was built with Angular, yet it lacks dynamic URLs for pages and search filters. Additionally, there are significant performance issues.

And yet, with tools like Claude AI, optimization could be achieved at virtually no cost.

Yes. I won that name, lol.

However, you can't be certain what the winning bidder had for a max bid.

Probably not yours, but I did get a name that I'm certain would have been bid up because taken in tons of extensions.

Uncool that sites been unusable for almost a full day.

Write it to me in PM :xf.cool: nothing personal of course. A bit of luck is needed in this cases as well.

This particular agular website (DropCatch) is completely bugged, and it would really take just a week to fix it entirely—such a shame.

I often have a long wait time to receive my email with the login code.

@Bravo Mod Team, Do they have a publicly known presence on NP?

Thanks for pointing that out. What happens to me is that the session expires too soon, and I have to login again. But the process still takes time while waiting for the verification email. It's a risky approach for an auction site where time is crucial.

I don't want to think badly, but yesterday they extended the auctions by 24 hours for some supposed problems on the site.

The point is that there's the auction for the Spend.com domain which yesterday at closing was at $700,000 and today, given that they increased the available time, we're at almost $800,000.

Strange coincidence, I don't think I can trust DropCatch, they do a slippery business to say the least.
