On March 7, dotMobi plans to auction a select group of domains at T.R.A.F.F.I.C. WEST 2007 in Las Vegas. The .mobi names scheduled for auction are:

“airfare,” “areacodes,” “cam,” “casinos,” “creditscore,” “directions,” “eat,” “libre,” “loancalculator,” “models,” “newmusic,” “pics,” “pizza,” “realestate” and “singles.”

This selection of names is subject to change at dotMobi’s discretion.

Flowers.com showed up at the last auction. I can't help but think that end users will be bidding on some of these.

That's true. Mobi is also going through the RFP process so I'm sure they wouldn't auction off any names that people sent in applications for. CircleID also stated mobi uses the money from these auctions to put back into the Mobi initiative (ie, promotion, development, etc), so that makes me feel better.

Glad to see Realestate.mobi made the list again and I still think this one has the most potential to draw the largest (deep pocket) bids. There is just TOOO much money in real estate these days and this is a perfect extention for that line of biz.
