top 15 user submitted (don't mean to offend if omitted was difficult to pick 15)..
songs, scores, europe, musicvideos, yearbook, voyeurs, shows, gaming, lasvegas, gear, ads, webcasts, ringers, attractions and transit

now, as a group, which one will do better?

i'd say as a group the resellers win, but the top 1 or 2 individual spots will go to the registry - the real issue is whether or not moniker and the like have enough of the right people there at, or atleast aware of, the auction.

when these names were submitted via excel spreadsheet, there were 3 columns for the financial info:

1. min. take-home pay (you enter a number here)
2. moniker commission (excel calculates 10% fee)
3. min. gross sale price (excel calculates take home pay + commission)

I was too lazy to submit any of my names this year, especially as I had offers on several of the ones I would have put forward, and submitting took place a couple of months ago- looking at this list of .mobi's though I could have had a few in there..kicking myself a bit now.

Some of the names in that list defy all common sense - 30s, 40s (sorry to offend anyone if they're yours), ewaterfrontusa- am I missing something??

There are some real beauties in there too though

LasVegas.mobi is a reserved domain and was not mentioned in yesterday's press release.

Nice size list of dot mobi names going to auction

That's a pretty good size list of 140 or so dot mobis that they selected to be included in this March T.R.A.F.F.I.C. auction. Mostly dot com names filling up the list as would be expected. A good number of .US names in there too.

It is likely that only a few of the dot mobis will be included in the LIVE auction along with the 15 "dotMobi premium" names. I would guess that most will be offered in the week-long silent auction.

I'm happy three of the thirty that I submitted for consideration were selected:

tuxedos
yearbook

To answer a few questions from previous posts:

1. There is no fee to submit names, just a spreadsheet to fill out with information about each of the domains you are submitting. You get that form from the sales department at Moniker about two months before the auction date.
2. I believe that the next live T.R.A.F.F.I.C. conference will be held in New York in June 2007 and would imagine that another auction will be held then as well.
