I can see a number of these getting picked up - there a few others I'm surprised they accepted the high reserve and can't see selling because of it. What do you think?

$15.03 USD for a .ca at Epik?

I pay US$9.90 for .caโ€™s. I believe I have NamePros pricing to get that price. They may even have cheaper pricing for over 500 .caโ€™s. @Rob Monster?

I really love Epikโ€™s for sale landers. I use them for a few of my domains including be.ca and aids.ca.

Hehe.... nice plug, I wish I was as good at artfully plugging my domains :xf.laugh:

If I wanted a perfect domain I would buy one. :xf.wink:

That converts to $12.86 CAD plus the credit card company charging a premium for the conversion of another 1-2% which brings it over the $13 dollar mark.

I've been pretty quiet for .ca sales. A few $1000ish deals, but for the most part, the last big one i had was 17.7k usd about a year ago. To be fair, I also have barely put any time into it. I need to get back into it. I've noticed my LLLL.coms also took a dive lol

You have the perfect domain. Itโ€™s also very.......... Pure. ;)

That can definitely be costly since you have over 500 .caโ€™s. Maybe you can get a good deal from Rob since you created the longest Epik thread. :)

Epik is somehow affiliated with Hexonet for .caโ€™s. If you look up one of my domains in the CIRA Whois, you will see that itโ€™s registered with โ€œHEXONET Services Inc.โ€. But I log into my Epik account to access my .ca names.

Canspace had the same with .com's they were technically registered with a different company (enom) even though you controlled them at Canspace. That is why the .com's were too expensive at canspace.... too many cooks in the kitchen.

Too many cooks in the kitchen ups the cost of the food:xf.grin:

That's the key - whenever I take the time to actively market my domains, I always sell a few, but right now I'm way behind on even listing my recent purchases... if 5-6 months ago is "recent". :xf.confused:

My LLLL.coms have also taken a hit in the last year. 15%-20% I'm guesstimating. Are you buying at the bottom or do you think there's more falling to come?

Can you share any of your .ca sales? Are they on NameBio?
Thanks if you can, Congrats either way.

Looks like another really bad week, with only 5 LLLs (only one is even close to premium) and not a lot of high-end names so far... It's not been a good run for the TBR lately.

That's pretty common in the registrar world. Not all of them are accredited for all TLDs, so some of them might just use another registrar as a "backfill" for additional TLDs. Hexonet, OpenSRS, RRPproxy, internetX are pretty commonly used.

Does not look like Mr Monster is going to reply to us in the .ca forum section.
I'm pretty sure @nafti tagged him.

Iโ€™m sure there is a lot on his plate but would be nice to see a response. Or he missed the tag.
