I understand that since this is a 'showcase' it is ok for me to list some of my .ca domain names. Any discussion/feedback is appreciated.

celfie.ca (this is a 'selfie' but you and your phone are in it)

Spree of 1 domain... They smartened up and put limits on their promotions after I took'em to the cleaners a few years back.

So there are limits now? There wasn't when I bought mine - managed to grab a pile of "not quite ready for TBR time domains" yesterday.

Yes that particular incident included transfers however I’ve been there other times when they were had sales and they had limits of one domain so I never bothered, the hassle of one domain for three bucks just wasn’t worth it. I didn’t actually check this time around, so if there are no limits, go for it!

I had a very bad day at the TBR races, but I had a very good day at the WHC.ca leftover buffet.

    Hi all,

Hoping one of you can answer this question for me.

I've been taking TBR xlsx exports from CIRA on Thursdays and analysing them through the week. However, in this most recent 07-01 I noticed a bunch of good one word domains that are not in that list.

Furthermore, at least one of the domains I checked (exotics.ca) is not listed on sibername's big drop list either, but it certainly dropped today.

    What's going on here?

    Thanks.

The CIRA TBR list is only complete on Monday morning (there are new drops every day from Mon-Sun night), so if you download it anytime before that, then it will be incomplete.

Don't trust the list on other registrars, as some delete the name once it gets a bid or if it's going to auction, etc. Just get it from the CIRA on Monday morning.

And we thought the last few weeks were bad...

I honestly can't find a single domain on the current list that I would class as a premium, or even worth going to auction on, and we're over 5K in. :xf.eek:
