I can see a number of these getting picked up - there a few others I'm surprised they accepted the high reserve and can't see selling because of it. What do you think?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
A footnote.... I would not have spent the money on a two letter like DN either but I just wanted it as a conquest domain because I'm in the business.

If someone offered me another two letter I would not be a high bidder unless I had an exact use for the acronym.

I sold a LLL.ca for just over 17k usd. Sometimes I think I did well.. Other times I think I could have gotten more . Was an afternic buy it now deal . Sold to an end user

Now that's a spicy meatball, and I am assuming this was an ultra-premium letter combo.

Lol. You?

Ding Ding, we have a winner!

Hand regged it during some sale thinking an FM station might like it, but never got the time to do any outbound. I think it still has some potential for a small sale, you just need to work on it as no way it's getting a BIN on Afternic.

Super brandable . There are a lot of companies out there using this name. I was afraid of possible copyright issues. I paid next to nothing for it anyway

While the potential of what could be looms ever overhead, 17k USD for a LLL.ca is nothing to be disappointed with.

Would love to know what that domain was, it's a solid sale.

I was happy with it .no complaints here, but as usual you get the "wonder if I ckuld have gotten more" in the back of your head

So it was also a word then?

And like others have said, take that money to the bank and never think twice, as $17K is great for an LLL.ca and it's better than a UDRP for Trademark infringement, right?

Wasn't a dictionary word unless you added a letter.. I'd just rather not say what it was publicly :)

I know the domain and I think @Dr. Anthony had the wisdom to make the deal, he made a great call.

I would have sold it for that had it been mine. (y)

We need to put a couple of domainers on CIRA's board.
There was a member who posted here awhile back that at the time was running for the board...PMed me a few times, just can't find the PM's

Here a tool that I use...wish .ca was by itself not in "other" extensions

I do like ShortNames for looking through current auctions. Though, is there any reason why you'd choose to use ShortNames over NameBio for sales history? The specificity of NameBio seems to make it a significantly more valuable tool.

Great question...I like using different tools for my research, never could rely on one source!
Today, I was researching eBay sales for my niche to see if ebay was worth the time and Shortnames (don't remember seeing eBay on NamesBio) was helpful...
