canspace does really good for me with the regular service, $59 bucks and I get the domain about 80% of the time. They only charge me once they get the domain so refunds are never necessary.

I was just looking at the tbr drop results on Sibername and i used to look at who caught each of the good names. Today i noticed a lot of new faces/names that are in the drop am just latte on the uptake ( usually the case ) or is there a lot more dropcatcher services?

    ie

    Domains2be.com inc
    whatsyourname.ca inc
    whoistoolbar.com corp
    domainiac.ca inc
    zidodomain.ca inc
    zippydomains.ca inc
    domains4u.ca inc
    dontaskwhy.ca inc
    maindomain.ca inc
    domainplaza.ca inc
    Tarton Domain Names ltd
    domainestic.com inc
    domaincentral.ca inc
    luckydomains.ca inc
    primeregistrar.ca inc
    telligen corporation
    grabton.ca inc

plus a lot of numbered corps

I think i may have seen a cpl of these before but not sure, any comments? Also how do you become a drop catcher?

    thanx Dan

I notice on today's Namebio report a nice sale of debut.ca for $2999 on Flippa. Not sure if it was someone on NPs, but congratulations to the seller!

    https://namebio.com/debut.ca

I hope that this bodes well for the two with same word I own, debut.world and debut.fun! I really like the word debut, even though so far it has not sold many times. I think it sounds modern and catchy and is short. Except for an accent it is the same in French and English, a bonus.

I've seen Tarton and Grabton a few times most of the rest are new to me.
You need to be a registrar to catch names I believe, or at least affiliated with one.

Always wondered why domainers don't get together and start one TBH. The profit potential is obvious. I guess we are all just lone wolves.

yeah... nothing wrong with techcenter.. when even the lesser quality techcentre is already taken .... the other 2 are okay too.. whenever.ca is almost as mcuh fun as wherever.ca or whatever.ca ;)

wifinet... well.. just a better version imo of wifinetowork(s) .. both taken too

I have a few more on my list too.. but my .ca budget is limited. cause well.. so are my .ca sales :)

It's for sale and I'm seriously thinking about it.

If you were bidding on it what would you offer?

Well, the .eu of perfect went for $2350. It is a nice word that is very versatile, although I wonder if it is a tiny bit over the top for Canadians - like saying something is perfect.

I see that the .com is some sort of financial analysis company with a nice website.

The .net appears to be for sale.

You would know far better than me, I would not spend more than very low $$$$ - if you get it much less than that like low $$$ it is probably a good bet.

GoValue says about $4000 for what that is worth.

You know premium .ca much better than me, though!

Trust me, I know the value

    without $$$ to $$$$

Wondering what you would pay to increase your portfolio if you had the funds sitting there to use.

    Give me a figure $4,999.23 ?

Maybe the ExcellentDomains folks would rebrand to be not just excellent but perfect :-D

    http://www.excellentdomains.ca/

ps My estimate re the domain value is undoubtedly very low ball - I just think in little numbers :-/

    I can't afford it.

If it was in the TBR I would go up to $2k. Reg it for 10 years and wait. Sell for $25K.
Try and leave some for the rest of us, lol!:xf.laugh:

A lot of nice names! I particularly like CreativeDance (surely an end user for that), LiveTalk, GameTraders and especially WallCraft see that as the perfect name for a small company doing creative wall design things!

I like some of the others, like sceptic and leaves especially although not as clear to me who the buyer might be. Of course a big sceptic movement internationally, although the Krauss controversy may be a setback.

Best of luck with all of these!

    Bob

Are they active anymore? It's odd - I think their homepage domains have changed since I last checked their site, though their most recent post is dated Dec 1st, 2015. Strange.

I immediately thought of Quality Assurance Unit (or other U meanings) when I saw the name. Best of luck with it.
