Bidding went crazy today on the last day of bidding for donations.mobi (again, not mine, unfortunately) -- it jumped from $400 to $4000 in the final hour, with 7 bidders involved in the action! Congratulations to the seller!

I'm hoping this bodes well for my donaciones.mobi and donativos.mobi (Spanish for "donations" and "contributions," respectively).

I just still can't believe that a name like this would go for this much at this point. It's a good name, but I can think of other names which should go for that figure.

In fact, I just bought a LLL domain for $1000 on aftermarket that I believe to be better calibur than this name. (lucky me, apparently!!).

Am I missing something on this name? Is it really worth 4K at this point? Or, is it just what someone is willing to pay? I'm just a little confused by this sale to be honest.
