I had an auction on watch today over at tdnam/godaddy for eclick.com. I noticed the name when it went showed up on the expired auction list at $10 but I didn't bid hoping it would trickle past the big bidders.
However, within a few days the price was beyond my target at $5,000 where it remained until the final minutes of auction. Bidding suddenly jumped by 1k or more at times. Finally everything ended at $15,030 at 3 PM (eclick.com domain auction screenshot)
To me this says the bidders are still out there, and still looking for high-quality names. And it also proves that the expiring domain market is not just functional and active, but has attracted more than just domainers to the pot. There were over 150 bids over the 8 day period, though we can't tell how many bidders that adds up to, I am sure it was 50 or more.
