Domains Missing From Bodis Reports!

When reviewing the domain report for the 15th, I discovered that 48 of my domains did not appear on the report. Today when checking the report for the 16th, 70 domains were missing. This is not a case of the domains not having any traffic or revenue, because Bodis reports domains with no traffic or revenue. I have many domains reporting 0's across the board.

I have contacted Bodis but have not had any response. I can’t believe I am the only one experiencing this. Compare the number of domains you have parked with Bodis, to the number of domains on the daily report, and see if there are discrepancies.

Matt, I'm not sure I understand what you are saying. I have 58 domains on todays report with 0 Visitors, 0 Clicks, 0 CTR and 0 Revenue. This is not uncommon.

Well sometimes these domains show up when they have 0 visitors, but for the majority of times when domains have no visitors they are not on the report.

I will try to have a fix for this right now.

Although, if a domain has had a click or made revenue for the day - it will be shown on the domain report. So if I were you, I wouldn't be worried - it is just our code which doesn't show the domains that have no stats.

No, you're not the only one. The same thing is happening with me. It's so bad that my best name earner isn't appearing in the Domain Report list. I have to filter the specific name to get the latest update earnings for my top earner. Generally the statistics reporting in Domain Report is hit and miss. It's particularly bad when you select 100 results. I gave up on that early on and opted for 20 results, but even that isn't functioning properly.

The support response is also an issue, although not a pressing one at present. I had a name generate an error message when I tried to update it and I emailed support but haven't had a response. I've PM'ed Matt in the forum so hopefully I'll hear from him.

I'm hoping that these are just teething problems and the guys are working through them, and are just a bit snowed under. I hope that's all it is cause this system is an excellent one revenue-wise. You won't get pay-outs like this from other parking companies. I'm earning much more than I have with other parking companies. Also, Bodis has an excellent pool of advertiser links, which results in good relevancy on the parked names and more incentive for people to click. The guys have put a lot of work into that side of the business and deserve a pat on the back. I hope this venture works out. It's certainly got a lot of good things going for it.

Maybe you guys are not seeing the paging at the bottom of the report. There are pages, 1, 2, 3, 4 etc if you have too many domains.

Okay, I have fixed the issue where the domains don't show if they didn't have any visitors. Now all domains should show up - regardless.

The main problem appears to be that Domain Report pages are overlapping and names are being repeated in blocks. And because many names are being repeated the names at the end of the list are being truncated. My report is supposed to be for 605 names (7 pages) but only 410 names are being reported on due to this truncation.

Here's the detail :

I have 605 names parked with Bodis at present and have had the earliest of them there for about 14 days or thereabouts. If I select 31 days in Domain Reporting that means I'm covering all parking activity to date with Bodis.

When I select 100 names in Domain Report (for the past 31 days) the first page starts with AboutSolarHomes.com and ends with Denehy.com. The second page should start with DesalinationPlant.tv but it starts with Bentota.com. This pattern is repeated for all the following pages, so that instead of getting 100 unique names reported per page you are getting some unique names plus a block of repeats from the previous page. Also, some blocks of names are missing on each page. This pattern is repeated through to page 7, the final page. Page 7 should end with ZPWE.com but it actually ends with PhotonicLasers.com. All my names from PHUV.com through to ZPWE.com - a block of 195 names - are not being reported. This is obviously happening as a result of the page overlapping.

My best earning name, Faust.tv, doesn't appear on any page when you select 100 results (or 20 results for that matter) for Domain Report. The only way I can call this name up is to use the filter setting and ask for a report specifically on Faust.tv.

There are also problems when you select 20 results per page for Domain Report. Page 1 starts with AboutSolarHomes.com and ends with BeijingPackpacker.com. It should start with AboutSolarHomes.com and ends with Anticipative.com. Forty names have been excluded from the reporting to this point. Page 2 starts with Bentota.com, instead of BeijingBackpackers.cn, which means six more names have been omitted. And so and so on .... My best earner, Faust.tv, should appear on page 7. It should come between FastWaltz.com and Feuding.org, but it doesn't. It doesn't appear on following pages either.

Hope this is helpful. I'm emailing the actual .HTML pages to [email protected] so you can see the overlaps. Also, you'll see that Faust.tv is missing from these pages.

I wonder is this is a problem associated with the number of domains you have parked? The people with around 100 names don't seem to be having the problems I'm having.

I had this problem and the reason for me was I hadn't yet set a keyword.
