I inadvertently posted about this in the Discussion Forum without realizing that it's fairly recent news. The page about it is here. It's not quite a convention...more of a gathering or something...maybe a quasi-convention. Anyways, it's FREE, and seems to be meant for those of us in the South West US to attend, meet one another and some people in the industry, learn some things, make industry contacts, etc. It's free because of DomainSponsor's sponsorship of it, so I'm guessing there will be a bunch of parking related discussion and monetization zeminars or whatever there. The tentative schedule has some interesting stuff...maybe most of which is "the legendary DomainFest hold-em game (DomainFest Attendees Only)". I bet that will be a ton of fun...poker rocks!
