I am curious as to what is the most time consuming aspect of this industry. Is it searching for good investment deals, looking at look expired domain lists, advertising your domains, searching for end users, developing the domains, ect...

Cheers

All of the above, but in spurts. I obsess about one area, then a few months later, I move to something else. It's the downfall of running a one-woman show.

Most time consuming aspect is to browse through Namepros at least 12 hours a day. :bingo:

For me, it's looking.

But I really should spend more time promoting and marketing.

And Namepros can be compulsive. Every now and then someone posts a fantastic offer that is quickly snapped up. I hate missing those!

I talk to Jamie most of the day. Laugh at emails we get and of course pretending to listen to him talk about some domain he's selling or buying while im playing an online game.

=)

Yes I am curious about this as well.

I'm very new at this but have been putting in a lot of hours. I have been spending most of my time domain shopping on the various forums and expired domain sites, to get an idea of what things are worth. Once I've gotten that figured out and have a solid portfolio, I think I'll spend a lot more time toying with monetization.

Really depends on what im working on at the time. Since its been slow mainly finding new techniques of making cash or testing new programs for parking and such. Also development projects is a big one.

Though when its not slow mainly finding domains and selling domains, basically what domaining is.

Doing a lot of research, research, and more research. Then acquired the domains base on my research.

Recently, reading books for development and practice, practice, and practice. Then develop.

You must be raking it in if you're constantly checking it out ;)

Mostly looking for quality domains to add to my portfolio. This is the most enjoyable part of domaining to me, aside from hobnobbing with all of you wonderful folks here at NP ;)

For me, it's blogging and find new tools. Just download the browser Chrome. Works very. The "incognito window" mode in the browser is good feature. No history, cache or cookies are saved in tis mode.

Should be spending more time researching and marketing though
