Domain with high alexa rank, monthly visits..

Hi,

A domain with an alexa rank of around 900,000 and many backlinks as well as hundreds of monthly visits is on an expired auction.

Would this domain be a good investment based on these stats for a domain investor as I never bought a domain due to it's rank . Only see SEO value in it .

How long would this Alexa rank remain? The domain also shows up #1 spot for the exact keywords on google.
