Hi, am a lil stuck am sort of new to buying and selling domains, I want to know a cheap place to buy a domain that doesnt show my whois information well just doesnt show my house address,. Thanks in advance for help:blink:

I know that, as i got the domain free with my hosting and I am buying a new domain and wantred to know were else do this, as my freinds have been charged for their .com whois address to be secret and not show.

GoDaddy.com should have a feature like that.
Or, you can simply enter fake information.

I do believe GoDaddy simply lists the domain name and Nameservers in the WhoIs, or this can be requested. Do NOT enter "fake" information if you wish to keep your domain name(s).

If i request on godaddy.com for my information to not be shown do you think they will charge? (am new to buying and selling domains and i have my eye on a nice domain uc )

oh I found out that godaddy.com charges does anyone know were do this for free?

Remember, if you do not put in verifiable info in your "whois" you may have trouble selling the name later.

You can always register the name and put in a P.O box address afterwards.

yea u can get u account deleted or if your domain is near expiring your email will be fake and you will not know.

I don't know of any place that offers the service you require, for free. Truly. Hoping other's may know, but for free seems unlikely IMHO.

How much does GoDaddy charge for hiding WHOIS information? Since they are registering domains for only $8.95, it's already a big win.

well if you really dont want your whois info to be shown you can regester thru netrillium and keep it as erminas info.. right?

I know RegisterFly has an option to hide your e-mail, but I haven't seen any with an option to hide your other info.
