Domain transfer query# from name-to-Moniker

I mainly utilize sedo's escrow for transactions but the buyer for one of my domains wanted to use escrow.com, also he wanted to do a reg-to-reg transfer.

Form your experience transferring between these registers, how long doe's it usually take to transfer a (dot) org domain from name.com reg to moniker.com reg?
it's been about eight days now.

I've heard seven to ten days but would like to hear first hand what's the typical (real) time expectancy.

Also just out of curiosity how long doe's it take for escrow to wire money to international accounts?

I've heard about 24hrs, would like to confirm though,

For me, usually Name.com is amongst the slowest of the Registrars to release the domain for transfer. It's usually at least 10 days. YMMV.

Escrow will wire the money within 1 or 2 working days after the transfer is complete.

Yeah they're pretty slow with their transfers/updates. godaddy takes about 5 days to transfer to from name which is at least a bit quicker.

Anyways, got an email from escrow this morning saying that that buyer has received the domain in his moniker account and that payment will be disbursed :tu:

Just need to wait for the 3 to 5 days for the money to arrive in my bank account from what escrow support have told me.

So far this transaction has been the slooooowest I've ever had to engage in, and what's ticking me off about it is the fact that I've got a big pre-xmas doo :santa: on this weekend and I've only got a little floating cash just to cover basic expenses.

I could of pulled some funds from paypal last week but realizing that the revenue from the domain sale will be wired to my bank account directly though it was pointless to do so.

that was about 9 days ago (when the escrow started) and now I'll need to wait even longer.


Now I'm cursing myself for not utilizing the paypal option to top up my banking account. :red: :lol:
