I'm currently selling an automotive domain which doesn't get a lot of traffic. The end user contacted me and asked for the domain traffic history to make an evaluation. The domain had an active site built on it at some point but no links. How would you respond?
Yes, but without providing the accurate numbers or anything at all gives him leverage in the negotiation process where he can actually sell you down (or has the ability to).You should say to him the truth the price of the name really does not depend on the traffic. You have the domain he needs the name, You can name a price or ask him for offers. Since you are the sole decision maker if the price suits you sell it or hold it. As said before dont mess with Karma.
