Domain reseller schemes

It has become tedious to manage all my domains under various different registrars, domain resellers and even various accounts in the different services, so I've decided to get all my domains moved into one bigger portofolio with a domain reseller account with some ICANN accredited registrar. Also would make it possible to expand my business abit at some stage into registering domains for associates, etc. :)

I've looked at various alternatives and searched with Google and here on NamePros, but I honestly speaking can't make up my mind which way to go, so because I didn't find any previous domain reselling scheme thread that I could bump, started a new one now then.

Those of you who have currently a domain reselling account with an ICANN accredited registrar (no middlemen, like for instance an ETP who sold you a subreseller account) or have previous experiences (please, no hearsay), what registrar/s can you recommend to me when I now look to become reseller? :)

I already ruled out Wild West Domains for their bad reselling scheme and because you're too enslaved by how they pretty much dictate things for you. Also ruled out eNom, because the accounts with cheaper prices have pretty hefty price tags (I want to spend way below 1000$).

So what viable options is there?

And a question to OpenSRS/Tucows resellers: Can you recommend it? Could you perhaps in public in this thread or by PM (unless completely forbidden) give a hint about what their reseller prices are?

You can buy a $7.95 enom reseller account. Last I saw one for sale, it cost less than $20.

Sorry, forgot to mention that I have also ruled out Directi. :) Not because they're Indian, but because their system is just so unstable when I have tried it. I test regged a free reseller account, but didn't impress me.

Armstrong,

I wouldn't want an ETP account as second hand, because I'm sceptic about those being anyway some subreseller account. Of course there's for free some 8-9$ subreseller accounts, but those won't do the trick for me. :) My point is, I don't want any middlemen as I said in the first post.

I do not recommend directi.com

I have a reseller price at $6.95, but the service is bad.

A try to register a domain, 2 days wait then after that got message register failed, :(

Seems you discrded all the common resellers ;)

Frankly, I dont know of anyone feasable besides the above mentiones ones (WWD, Enom, Directi, etc..)

A solution for your portfolio maybe a discount account at a WWD reseller (see my signature) allthough you will not be able then to resell to wide public through separate accounts.

Just get a $6.95 enom account. It's like 7 grand, but if youve got a lot of domains it makes sense.

So no one has experience with eg. Tucows/OpenSRS? And I only reject getting eNom, WWD and Directi. If Directi improves, I might go with them. However would like to hear more comments. :) The best insight might get a 10 NP$ bonus as a reward, in order to encourage you to comment.
