Domain Owner Contact Link On Parked Page

hi-i would like to receive feedback from others regarding how often they receive inquiries regarding their domain name/s from the 'contact us' link that is provided by parking companys. for example, bodis and parked both have the option to have a link where an interested party can direct an inquiry directly to the domain name owner. thanks

Ironically, I have had more inquiries from people who saw that the domain was for sale, and instead of using the contact form, they go to the whois and send a message to that email address instead.

I have a similar experience. Many of my domains are listed on SEDO or some other auction sites and some of the people who contact me mention that, but instead of making an offer through the third party site, get my information (Whois, as you said) and contact me. Some are serious buyers, but the majority are either scammers, pretending to be interested in a domain to then offer me appraisal "services" or something of that sort.
