Hi guys,
I'm a newbie, who's literally just started out, feeling jubilant as sold my first domain today for 75 pounds having paid 1.99 for it! sold it directly to a business after emailing several, rather than an auction on Flippa which doesn't seem too hot.

Anyway, I have 3 others I have in my 'portfolio'. I was wondering if anyone could just comment if they think I'm on the right lines in terms of the way I'm selecting them? they are:

houses-for-sale.info
musictorrent.net
profitworld.net

Will appreciate your comments - thank you.

Stick with dot coms. They're easier to sell. I don't really like any of those domains. What was the domain you sold?

It was moneymatters.net

I think you sold moneymatters for lot cheaper.
You would earned a lot from it.
Anyway MusicTorrent.net seems fine to me.
Cant see much for the others
Thanks

Hi Yogi - thanks for the input.

I'd listed "MoneyMatters" on Flippa, and a couple of other places without any interest, so I emailed a number of companies, blogs etc I found on Google named the same, and he replied and asked me the price.

Considering I'd paid £1.99 I was delighted as my first sale!.

I'm not really sure what to do with these 3 others - just want rid of them really - I know now alot more than when I purchased them and want to start getting some more, but want a clean slate!

I've chucked them in the bargain bucket here for $10 a pop, so hoping someone will get involved.

I'd of thought the house or torrent ones would of been interesting :/

cheers!

Congratulations on your sale. All three of the domains are not that good just drop them and cut your losses and move on to better domain purchases in .com of course.

All four have been sold, each at a profit, so can't of been too bad :)

Do you want to sell any of my bad names? You seem to have a good knack for this. No capital outlay on your part :)

ha! no thank you.

The one I sold directly to the end user was a basic sales tactic, the other 3 I sold on a facebook domain page to someone who'd basically been suckered in by the SEDO valuation and hence thought they'd done me over.

Ultimately I wanted rid of them as had made my "nice" profit on the first, but profited on all 4 to some extent.

I just want to get them, and sell them asap, I don't have the patience to wait!

:sold:
