Hi,

Recently I sold some names in the auction section here at NP. I was trying to push these domain name from mine to the buyer but for some odd reasons domains are not getting pushed.

I am getting this strange error message when I am making a push:

"Push was not successfully initiated. Domain is in renewal process."

All the names have their expiration in 2015 but this issue is causing a lot of pain for me and my buyer. I hope somebody from moniker could fix this issue. All suggestions are welcome.

I have already messaged moniker support about this problem and it has been more than 24 hours but no response from them.

Somebody please help

Perhaps just transfer?

Due to moniker's massive screw ups lately their support is probably pushed to the limit. Some have suggested going to twitter and complaining their - it's a little more public than namepros and they may be motivated to get to you faster.

Try not giving them any more business. Deprive them of your money. That's the only way to settle the score. If you keep pumping money to them, they will have no reason to give you better service. I'm surprised anyone still uses them.

Ok I fixed the issue myself without any support from Moniker. So basically I had set renew options to auto renew on expiration with that option checked Moniker was giving me error on domain push. What I did was set renewal option to delete after grace period. After doing that push was successfully initiated. Hopefully this info will come in handy to somebody else.

Why would a company force you to set auto renew to push it? O_o

That's almost "locking" a buyer into retention / renewal if they don't notice this is set.

...good for people with Alzheimer's, bad for people who regularly purchase cause Moniker "decides" when it needs to be renewed (sometimes it's random)...

If only humans operated that way we wouldnt have companies behave like moniker is now. Unfortunately most humans are creatures of habit, we will endure massive pain and suffering from a person or company just because "we are used to it / them". What makes this phenomenon so crazy is that there are so many better options yet we prefer what we got used to.

I hope the day comes when most of humanity jumps ship the second they see a problem with a human or company. Only then will we be able to destroy the scum that causes so much hell for most of us.

PS My rant is a general rant and not intended to anyone here directly
