Ok-

lets say I have a very conceptual keyword that has to with domaining.

In your professional opinion should I register:

DomainWORD.com
NameWORD.com
NicWORD.com
DnWORD.com
Suggest if I did a miss a domain/biz "title".
(urlWORD.com - added)

or should I register 2 of these 3 of these all of these.

Assuming that the WORD is equally cool/matching with each. And this is for Dev reasons. Not resell. (is it worth it to cover bases for possible future success by regging the variations)

hey - this is my 500th post by the way!!! Ok so I have gone slow. Two ears - one mouth ratio...

I would go with domainWORD.com.

I guess another "domain" title would be url but thats kinda lame and not very user friendly.

urlWORD.com

In my opinion even though I'm a proud owner of www.urlGURU.com

I have urlcity.us and .org and DomainImp.com. I think url certainly can work, but I still prefer to have the word "domain" in the domain.

domain and name are the best.
DN follows (although limited to insiders such as ourselves).

just my opinion.

Word in this case was just a _____fill-in-blank.

Hey what is Nic anyway?

anything to do with nic-name?

NIC=network information Center (registry).
it is usually were the registry for many (most?) .ccTLDs resides.
the public is not aware of this, and it is not suitable for a name for general use IMO such as NIC_WORD

I'd prefer ____Domain.com than Domain_______.com ...
unless you are talking about people like junkies, crazies, mobs ...

DN is in general not as known to the public as domain, but if your target audience is the domainers, then that would be no problem.

Domain is becoming a bit too common nowadays IMO but it would be the most straightfoward way. If you want to go a bit different, name and url would both be nice.

domainWORD.com would be the best, but nameWORD.com would also be easy to remember.
