That was an interesting July Domain Industry Report.

And appreciate the top keywords for that report period as well.

Thanks!

Thanks for the interesting report. Looks like there are TONS of speculative .xyz domains being bought, with it being sooo close to the 2nd most purchased extension in July.

Thanks for the report.

Are these new registrations or it includes renewals of exiting domains?

The top keywords are the same, almost all the time.
Only if something extraordinary happens (like the previous month), the top keywords are changing.
(Black, or covid/corona)

Thanks for the report.

These are only new registrations.

What an incredible report! Thank you so much.

A lot to digest. Interesting to see best join top 10 keywords, and that all of the top 10 multi-word keywords are also new extensions.

A little surprising so many .xyz, but good first year discounts, sales have been happening in aftermarket, largely by @DNGear, and the extension has always had a bit more real-world use than many other new extensions. The use by Alphabet is a plus for the extension.

Possibly to me the most surprising was in the registrar stats. So NameCheap adding registrations at half the rate of GoDaddy, a definite sign of strength. Also, see Wix now in top 10 as a domain registrar.

The 5 and 10 year registration data interesting. Clearly a fair number are extending to max 10 yr right off. The 5 yr promotions by Radix may have helped push that up slightly.

All in all, fantastic detail beautifully presented, with much data of importance to help us become better domain investors.

Bob
