I know there is a place where you can find out your domains history (past owners) but I am not sure what the address is.

Could anyone help?

Maybe the domain hasn't been archived yet?
I've found it to be pretty accurate in the past.
Some of the archived pages has info relating to
what was there. On some of mine it has the previous
owner's contact info still showing :)
It's probably not the best solution
but it may give him the info he needs...

I registered a domain through yahoo, using a yahoo email last year and gave it as gift but the owner changed the whois info,When I wanted to login so that I could move the domain to his account.I forgot the first email address which I used.I tried these services and I was getting new whois info.

you may contact your registrar, it should be able to solve your problem.
