After reading this thread I realized there are a lot of newbies/kiddies out there that have a hard time even coming up with the regfee for a domain. I have a few names that I got somehow that aren't making $0.01 parked and I'm sure I will drop.

Couldn't we make a thread for this that people can post their unwanted names so starters can pick one up to gain experience?

Maybe there should be some conditions (like a minimum amount of posts) but I'm sure there are a lot of people that have junk names lying around.

I completely agree with you.
I am a teen from India and I sometimes find it difficult to even afford the reg fee for the domains.

Good idea, but it is not necessary to make a special forum for this, because they do not happen that often. Maybe they could insert it as a sub-category somewhere.

Hey,

Don't mean to spam the forum but thought this might come in handy for those who can't afford the reg fee for domains (sorry if it seems as spam).

I am launching www.prizecollect.com soon which will let people get free domains as one of the prizes :)

Thanks,
Chris

For the price of domains these days, I find it extremely difficult why anyone has problems paying $7 for a name, or less, if you check the Marketplace forums at NP for cheap names for sale.
If you are in a job, then there is no reason not too buy your own. If you are too young, ask your parents. If you feel you cannot ask your parents, then you have some family issues that need to be sorted out quickly. If your parents don't agree with what you are doing or are not willing to pay for you to get a few days enjoyment out of owning a name then moving on from it, then that's that, you won't be getting one.
