hi namepros

Im fresh to the domain scence and would like to have a crack at the whip.
i have decided to dive straight in the deep end and have brought 8 or so
domains. Which mite not seem alot but im trying to buy good names and plus im on a tight budget.

So i would like to ask how much did you buy at 1st and how much do you buy now?

I brought 1 domain my first time, a .info for 99 cents
I sold it for $250 within a few hours

I'm new too,
now i got 100 domains and i still haven't sold any (most are .mobi), but parking them i can repay reg fees (but .mobi are really bad to park).

try parking them at namedrive, if you love me and pm me, i give you my ref for free :)

I bought a handful to start, but made the mistake of not consulting other domainers at the time... My first 10 or so registrations were practically worthless. It wasnt until I regged the next batch of 10 that I started getting smart. I varied where and how I acquired them and started to find some success. Currently I usually buy several a week, many at auctions.

If I were you I would slow down, invest time right now, not money. Learn what makes domain names valueable and find a few good strategies to help you along the way. Im willing to bet that your first 8 domain names, will not be resold... simply based on that.
