Domain all the sudden getting traffic?

Can anyone explain how my domain name Lutica.com, is now receiving and average of 15 unique views a day, when it used to receive maybe 5 a month? It has been receiving this steady traffic for 8 days now. It's been parked at Sedo for the last few months, so I haven't done anything that could have caused the boost in traffic.

All I know about the domain name is that it is related to something Asian. I'm thinking it is a name. I also find a lot of anime when I search for the term.

Im looking, but honestly - Im not seeing anything. If you put up your own page, you could track reffering traffic, but I dont see any reason. Perhaps one of the SE's for a search term - getting any clicks?

Or perhaps a website with a similar domain was recently launched, and what you're seeing is typo traffic? I've had this happen to me.

Not sure...if you really must know, set up hosting at the domain and see where the traffic is coming from.

It has only received one click for $.06. So far today it has received 18 unique views. This is weird considering it is a Saturday.

Hmm, it seems most of the traffic is coming from Canada. Any Canadians care to help out.

I may be going out on a limb here, but there is a contestant on American Idol called LaKisha Jones. It is not an easy name to spell, maybe you are getting traffic because of that.

lot of my names have change of traffic for no good reason. From 5 to 15 uniques you may consider it a noise.

I've seen this happen with some of my domains, as well. I am not sure what causes it, but it does happen.
