"Cannot analyze if the PR is Genuine at this time"

There was a Page Rank 4 domain that expired and it was available a couple of days ago but someone already registred it. I hesitated to register it because of the statement "Cannot analyze if the PR is Genuine at this time" that I got when I checked its Page Rank.
I also read somewhere that the page rank of an expired domain will eventually disappear once it gets registered again. Is this TRUE?

My question is should I register an expired domain with a good Page Rank even though its Page Rank cannot be determine if its genuine at that moment. Is there also a possibility that I can keep the page rank if I start putting lots of unique content on it?

Anyone is welcome to jump on this thread. Please give any suggestions, examples, or experience that you had with registering an expired domain with Page Rank.

The person (only 1 person) who gives me the best answer with good evidence I will PM him/her a list of 2 available domain names with PAGE RANK 1 that they can register for themselves. Both domains have dot com extension. (Please Note, the Page Rank on these 2 available domains cannot also be determine if its genuine or not, BUT they are NOT FORGED according to checkpagerank.net)

Let me rephrase it: the page rank of the domain will disappear if it is just parked without proper content. In order to keep the page rank intact, you have to develop and maintain it properly.

Google updates page ranking periodically; a few times a year. A name doesn't lose its PR overnight.
