Do You Vape?

Eleven days ago, my wife and I bought our vaporizer pens.
Since?
Not a cigarette or cigar!
And no desire for one.
:
So my question is this:
Do you vape?
And why?

I tried it, but it is stronger than cigarette smoke when I inhale.... And, they run out fast, like xxx puffs, right?

Iowa Dog, I quit a 17 year cigarette addiction with Chantix. No nicotine or tobacco for 2 years. I needed something to take the edge off of life and picked up an iTaste battery, and an iClear tank with some of the best juices. I vape because I love nicotine.

This is not ecigarettes.
Keep that in mind.
A vaporizer pen is completely different.
And actually, using a vaporizer, you are getting less nicotine, more oxygen, and none of those gases from cigarettes.

Oh, they contain nicotine? Where do you buy them? I want to stop smoking, but too many women in my life :)

I figure I better come in here and learn what a Vape is.

Easiest way to learn about vaporizer pens?
Do the google search!
hahahahahaha
But to really learn everything, do find a shop near you that does sell vaporizers, parts, etc etc.
We have one right up the street.

A good shop will ask you questions like how much do you smoke?
When do you smoke?
and more.

Now the flavors available are mind boggling!
From bubble gum to lemon meringue pie (tried that this morning, okay but still).
Plus lots of tobacco flavored ones.
Those I think are better than the flavored ones.
Why I was at the shop this morning, tasting all the various tobacco ones and ended up with what I really liked as it was mild, flavorful and probably as close to the real thing as one will get:
Cohiba.
Once I am out of the royal cherry (tasty, why I started with that one, whereas my wife got a tobacco one she liked), will switch to Cohiba.

This is the one I have, only in all silver.

The vaporizing pen is the rechargeable tube battery with the un screwable tank right?

I had that in the beginning stages of e-juice addiction.

You can take the tank off.

Does it leave an aftertaste?

I have not noticed any aftertaste.
You can taste the flavors when you take a hit.
Got to remember, this is just vapor (steam)/

I don't smoke but have neighbors that vape and, honestly, I think the things look silly. But then, I think smoking cigarettes is silly too. :)

I haven't tried it yet, but they say that creators of vape may hide marijuana on it.

Well, my first vaporizer pen went bad on me.
So I used my wife's second unit.
It was awesome.
Then yesterday, I bought the pen I now have from our neighbor who gave up vaping and went back to cigarettes.
At a damn good discount!
And now I am a happy camper!

Really, to start vaping, like I said, get a local shop who will help you, explain all the ins and out, and be there to help you.

Okay, figured it out.
After a little over a month, everything we have spent on vaporizer kits and liquids?
Cost us less than if we had bought cigarettes!
Now we are into really saving money mode now.

Plus the smell of cigarette smoke alone is nauseating to me and my wife.
And darn...we can tell who smokes now just by them being near us.

I see a lot of people who want to quit smoking on military bases with vaporizers. Except, they end up telling me they buy higher and higher nicotine cartridges/fillers and vape more than they used to smoke. Sure it's healthier with the carcinogenic aspect, but some are paying 2 to 5 times more money on their vape habit which was intended on getting them to quit smoking cigarettes ($1.80 to $5 a pack here).

In the Corps, we were allowed breaks when we needed to smoke. The people who didn't smoke, had to work. I noticed this trend and it got me from smoking 2 Black & Mild's or Swisher Sweets a week after high school to 2 to 3 packs of Newport's a day by the end of my time in the service. As you're pushed so hard during exercise, the smoking regularly has no real effect besides potentially giving you cancer sooner, or at least that's what it felt like physically. B-)

When I got out and moved back to the States, a pack of Newport's for ~$9.10 as compared to $4.50 was enough for me to quit. D-:

I have the ability to quit cold turkey as I'm not physically depended on smoking, but psychologically dependent on it. :-/

If I were to get a vape, sure I would quit smoking a pack or two of Reds a day and save enough money to buy 1 extra domain name a day. Although, I think I would just sit at my computer and chief on that thing all day with the highest nicotine content, which would be counterproductive if I wanted to quit to save money. O_o

I do want to quit again to get back into daily half-marathon running shape again though and finally run the Naha Marathon (always said I'd do it over 6 years, but never did and end up watching the 20,000+ runners from my balcony pass by every December), but that would be my only motive to quit in which I could do the same style: cold turkey like I have two or three times which lasted ~2 years each. :D

Sheesh, this took forever to type. Cigarette break time.

Admit there are some who do get carried away with vaping.
Now my wife and I, we still do what we did when smoking.
Not in the house at all.
Not in the car.
Go outside only.
And take a few sips.
That's it for another 30 minutes to an hour.
Sometimes more.

I think if I were to quit smoking on the balcony and vaping instead, I'd just set a laptop up and lawn chair out there and constantly puff until the battery wore out. In which case, I'd have a backup of course. :D

Vaping 420 is nice. this thread is making me understand there is alot more to the word than the actions behind it.

but what is it? is it about the battery time? or the nitocine amount? or the smoking? or the technology? or looking cool? just an intricate niche.
