Do you use Windows or Linux?

Hi There!

Thanks for looking @ this thread. I'm curious as to whether you use Windows or Linux for your websites, and what your reasoning behind your choice is. I'm considering offering Windows hosting ontop of Linux and trying to see how high the demand is compared to linux.

server 1 = red hat enterprise 3
server 2 = red hat enterprise 3
server 3 = fedora core 3
server 4 = windows server 2003 (development server at home, hardly touch it atm)

Linux is more stable, AND you can do quite a bit with it. However, as a soon-to-be college student, I of course don't own any servers. I am currently on a windows plan, selling windows hosting, as a result of a very good business relationship that I have with someone I know.

Once I get my own servers, I hope to provide Linux hosting.

i think linux is the most stable Os for a web server.
Windows also is good but not as much :P
