Came across this a few days ago.

Was wondering if you recommend using one (haven't even seen one so if you could point me in the right direction that'd be great).

Do you use a contract on all sales, large sales, etc?
What is the customer response (obviously someone saying no is a red flag)?

Thanks for the help.

I used a contract a few times when selling domains. Usually, a legitimate end user will stand by this decision and proceed with finalizing the transaction whereas 'Imposters' are usually scared off; never to be heard from again!

I'd say if the deal is more than 2k, use a contract!

I have sold well over 500 domain names of varying value from $xx to $xx,xxx and have never needed to use a contract - almost all my sales over last couple of years have been to end users who genuinely want to complete the deal without having lawyers haggling over every word and delaying the transfer process.

I wonder what kind of contact end user wants? I suppose that is a measure to prevent scam.
