Do you still hand register domain names?

Hello,

I would just like to know people who still believe in hand registering domain names.

I usually see on the internet that all the good domain names registered, there is nothing good to register.

Do you believe it or not?

If possible, give the example of domain name.

For my example: I regged eAnswerer.com, ModernCruise.com etc.

I hand reg all the time - recent dot com examples include

Corner Whirlpool Bath
Clear Cellophane Bags
Electric Central Heating
Heating And Airconditioning Parts
Garage Door Closer
Live In Capetown

They may not all turn out winners but enough do to cover the cost of the not so good ones as well.

The keywords shows 9,900 search volume via Google in Feb.

But it does have great enduser sale potential

Are some recent hand registered domains. I sold a .us for 2k+ eight days after regging and a .tv for 4k a few months thereafter. Can't stop now....

Yes, I do hand reg names all the time as well as buy in the aftermarket. I look at other extentions besides .com that has great growth opportunities

I hand reg both new names and drops quite a lot, in fact the majority of my domains. There are some beauties out there now that domain tasting has been hit hard if you know what to look for.

Yep still do. I actually enjoy hunting for a name out of the blue but I have been using a lot of drop lists lately. I think the last one I scanned had about 27,000 names on it....lol really should get a script to help me scan these lists.

I mainly hand-reg all my names, Ive bought a few names in the past which I felt were good deals knowing that I could flip them down the road for more.

My last 2 hand regged domain sales netted me a profit of $800, so yeah, hand regs still work/sell just gotta be careful what you reg.

I dont see those 2 names you regged as holding much value.
