Do you own a single letter domain ?

i got :

ʒ.xyz ( xn--fpa.xyz ) IDN

Ezh (Ʒ ʒ) /ˈɛʒ/, also called the "tailed z", is a letter whose lower case form is used in the
International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), representing the voiced postalveolar fricative consonant.
For example: vision /ˈvɪʒən/. It is pronounced as the "s" in "treasure" or the "si" in the word "precision".
(See also Ž, the Persian alphabet letter ژ and the Cyrillic ж.)

á.top ( xn--1ca.top ) IDN
á.xyz ( xn--1ca.xyz ) IDN

á (a-acute) is a letter of the Czech, Faroese, Hungarian, Icelandic, Irish, Sámi Slovak Dutch, Galician, Lakota, Navajo, Occitan, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Welsh as a variant of the letter “a”.
It also appears in Blackfoot. It is sometimes confused with à; e.g. "5 apples á $1", which is more commonly written as "5 apples à $1" (French for "5 apples at 1 dollar each").

what single letter domain do you have ?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I would want to buy such a domain. Letter N.

I only have 1...

x.exchange

I like it because "exchange" is sometimes abbreviated at simply "x".

I have several one-letter IDN (cyrillic) .xyz and .top
I agree that its't "one charachter" name, but it's "one letter" for sure.
Because we have those letters at keyboard (full size PC or Mac or smartphone or other device), and it's no necessary take care about full punycode interpretation.
But I did't have any sales of such domains yet.
We will see.

Dude whether they're .com or not any single letter domain has a lot of value, and you're holding a fistful of dollars there, my friend.

$500 or so, if I remember correctly. I was concerned with trademark issues regarding igolf.com

Still quite cheap, I assume $500 a year renewal as well as most of the single character carry the premium renewal fees.

Correct, yeah. Again, I believe it would've been worth it at that price were it not for my legal concerns.

Just sold two single letter ccTLDs (x.xx), have some more available.

Honestly, i.golf could quite obviously be seen as a statement or independent business//reviewsite//all kinds of stuff, pretty sure pushing legal issues there would be an uphill battle for them, especially if they didn't initially claim it in pre- or actual land rush, you know?

Many ccTLDs don't have premium renewal fees for one-letter domains. For example, one-letter .sb domains are only very slightly higher (US$70 rather than US$65, or something like that), and .mk domains are the same price as regular domains.

I will only buy such domain fi its .com like M.com. I know it wont really be possible because all .com short domains have been taken.

that's not a single character

Technically not. I got couple of one-character IDN names by my language, with an existing button on the keyboard, so in this case, anyone in this country can press one button .net or .tv and there you go :xf.wink:
