Do You Own A Media Tablet?

With tablets so big these days, do you own a media tablet?

What brand and what do you use it for?

I have owned an iPod Touch, a Pandigital Novel, and a Pandigital Star. Currently I own a Pandigital SuperNova, just having received it today.

The SuperNova features an 8" capacitive screen, Android 2.3, 4gb of shared memory, front & rear camera, wifi, & bluetooth. It also features a microSD slot for additional storage of up to 32gb and a microHDMI out port.

I can't comment on it too much at this juncture having only had it about an hour at this point, but I can see some design improvements over the Star, as well as increased range for Wifi.

Previously I had used my star for email, Facebook, Skype calls, games, Pandora, watching videos and more. I expect the SuperNova will do all that plus..

I don't really "need" a tablet either but it's great as a radio, alarm clock, digital picture frame, police scanner, e-reader, etc.. it's the versatility I enjoy, not to mention the games. I can even leave it next to my bed for my Skype In calls..

8" is a good compromise between the bigger screens and the smaller screens like the iTouch (for me anyways).. however, the one thing I liked about my iTouch was it would slip neatly into my pocket. My 8" SuperNova is too big for that but would be great for taking to class or business meetings..
