.us Do you have to be US citizen for .US Domains?

Just saw this paragraph in the Sedo report on .US domains. I purchased quite a few but I am not an American citizen and I live in Europe. Does this mean I cannot sell them or cannot legally be the registrant?

"The .US TLD may be registered by citizens and permanent residents of the United States or by any entity or organization which has a legitimate presence in the United States."

Please can someone explain a bit more and if my fears are groundless.

Well, does buying the name from a US registrar constitute a "US presence"..??

Yes I think you are right Badger. I found this clause with one of the us registrars. It means that if I as a non-American citizen have domain names registered with a US based registrar it constitutes me having a certain vested business interest in the US. So in other words I comply with that clause.
