Is there an advantage to having a site parked at say whypark.com over a minisite with the same content on it when it comes to seo / higher search ranking?
The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Before parked bought whypark I'd say 100 per cent yes because whypark site loaded like a 14.4baud connection. Now things should be better but I'd test out a few whypark sites first. Plus you have thousands of sites on the same IP which in theory should not harm your SEO but...
WhyPark quickly builds domains to become shiny, new, living websites.
Now the number of web users are searching for fresh, relevant content. so whypark is saying that is your site that they are searching but ones you go for that just refer the condition of that site.

I think that parked sites will have no affect of any kind on SEO. And having the same content in two different sites/pages will create duplicate problem.
Parking sites is not a very wise option. Minisites are any time better if you are able to capture visitor leads by some newsletter sign up form or something.
