question Do NLLL.com domain names have any value?

I was wondering whether number-letter-letter-letter (4) domains do have any value. The other way around they probably have, cause i've seen people selling them for high prices. Anyone who knows more about this?

I tend to think patterns also play a part in this format, example 8xxx or 7ddd will have more value than random combinations

A quick search shows 1abj, 4aaj 2aae 3aay are all available which suggest not a heap of demand for this format
