Hi,

I'm wondering if (high) .com-sales generally have an effect on
the value of the same keyword(s) with another TLD.

For example InstantApprovals.com was sold for 60.000 or ChicasCalientes.com
a while ago for 28.000 Dollar.
Does this mean that e.g InstantApprovals.net etc. or ChicasCalientes.net /.cc automaticly increase in value ?
Is there a direct connection betwen the value of a .com and other gTLDs/ccTLDS ?

I don't mean generic keywords like "casino" which are generally valuable with
any extension, but domains similar to the two mentioned above.

Would like to hear your experiences/opinions on this..

regards
John

When you see a large dollar sign next to a sold dot com - does that mean the .net increases in value? Yes. to some degree they do.

But, more or less you have to review why a domain sells well, and what factors are involved. Is there some formula, where you can say .nets are worth 1/20 of a .com sale? The answer is no. Everything varies...
